Out over the roof tops of Paris! Sometimes I wonder if this is where I am meant to be. Have been there just one time and then for only eight or nine days or so.  Maybe it is because of all the books that I have read about this wonderful city. It has certainly captured my imagination. A place that I would love to spend an extended amount of time in, multiple times, in all seasons. I would walk, walk every where. That is how you get to know a place, by walking it. Shop in the small shops and find a comfortable cafe and frequent it as often as possible. Most importantly, take your time, talk to the shop keepers, talk to the waiters at the cafe, talk to everyone you can. Learn some of the language. That is how you get to know a place. In the little travel I have done I have found that when talking to the "locals" that they are just as curious about me and where I am from as I am about them. Be polite and smile. It opens doors everywhere!  Bring a camera, some thing small, unobtrusive and light. Don't bring a camera bag, you  don't even need a zoom, keep it simple, a slightly wide prime lens will do the trick. For there are are images to be had in this amazing city, images every where. What a beautiful city! Would leave tomorrow if I could...
